Climate change.

 Climate change.

Climate change refers to long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns. These changes can be natural, for example through variations in the solar cycle. But since the 19th century, human activities have been the most important cause of climate change, mainly due to the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas.

Burning fossil fuels creates greenhouse gas emissions that act like a blanket around the Earth, trapping heat from the sun and raising temperatures, preventing the climate won´t reduce in his variations weather.

What measures can we take to prevent climate change?

  • Dispose of plastic objects and waste in garbage containers or special places for recycling and not in rivers or seas. These pollutants will not allow the survival of aquatic animal species, in addition, the contamination of water to drink or use on a daily basis.

  • Avoid leaving the lights on at home or in the workplace when we are not using them and use energy-saving light bulbs. This to reduce the consumption of energy that is produced by fossil fuels such as natural gas, coal and oil, being a problem for the generation of greenhouse gases.
  • Reducing deforestation activity to avoid the various climatic changes generated by this practice, such as the extinction of animals, the increase in temperature in the polar caps and their melting, that will endanger the disappearance of coastal areas.
